The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) were formerly fans of Lady Gaga. The pop superstar came to earn PETA's praise by, among other things, discouraging humans from wearing animal skins.
That changed when she posed for a photo shoot in Japan wearing an animal flesh bikini with a slab of meat on her head. Not only PETA was unhappy so too it seems was Ellen Degeneres. After the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, where Gaga won 8 awards including Best Video, the two taped an interview for broadcast the next day and Degeneres asked Gaga about her clothing choice.
They were taping for The Ellen Degeneres Show and some reports say that the meat dress Gaga was wearing for the taping was made from cloth while others said it was again real meat; the purse and hat, reports say, were in fact real meat. Dengeres is vegan and had clearly planned to grill, if not roast, Gaga about her choice.
